Fav Special: Duvel

Fav Abbey: Chimay Bleue

Fav Trappist: Westvleteren

Fav Fruit: Liefmans Kriek

Others: Gueuze Mort Subite, Faro Lindemans, Bon Secours, Paulaner (probably the only non-belgian beer I like)

I finally had Duvel last night and some Pilsner Urkel too. I found both to be top notch brews, though i do prefer Duvel.

From one torontonian to another, you has gots to check out our Microbrews!
Thar be lots beer tastings that go on in the city. I highly recommend checking out the restaurant Michelle's in Yorkville. I think its every other month that they have a brewmasters night, and its super cheap, like, 50 bucks, and you get liqoured up and fed some supertasty, beer infused delicacies. Other than that, I'd vote for Saint Andre as one of the best local brews, but by the sounds of it, yer a light beer drinker, so maybe switch to Steamwhistle. Sorry for the rambling... trade hazard (bartender)

My beer has to be very bitter, thick, full of flavour but also with very little sweetness. That's why I love Ale above Lager.

Kilkenny, Murphy's & Guinness is my first choices.

But I will investigate Duvel, as many people have mentioned it.
