Fifa threatened to exclude FIGC from any international competiotion if anyone (I don't know if he meant just the clubs or it was in general) appealed to any ordinary court.

(According to me this is one of the reasons why we *have* to appeal)
why fifa could make that decision? as far as I know any regulation in any oganization should be set up base on the laws or constitutions, and its the right thing for Juve to appeal to get a fair trial.
if Im the family I would prepare to give these arrogant ppl a lesson just like what Bosman did years ago

Why? Because if the clubs won the Tar appeal, it would mean that Stella Rossa (It's the italian name, I have no idea on how it's called abroad  ) wouldn't have faced Milan in the preliminary, that the club who faced Chievo would have got another club and maybe would have had more difficulties in defeating them and maybe wouldn't have advanced and so on. And who would pay Juve, Fiorentina &co. back for not having taken part to the competition?
By appealing to Tar you risk messing up things also on an international level and UEFA and FIFA want to avoid trouble.

Stella Rossa? you mean Red Stars fomer ECC winner?
I dont care what mess we could make, I just care how they clean the mess they made by themself. hope the family and the board share my thought
is there any posbiility that if we appeal to euro court and the court would call the CL off? I would love to see that happen

Yep, Red Stars. I wonder why we use a translation of their name.:confused2

I completely agree, I don't care about the mess either. I'll tell you more, I'd go to Tar even if it was only to make the federation pay. Federation would mostly mean Guido Rossi (who would be the first and only FIGC president to manage to ban all its teams, NTs included, for international competitions), but also the ones who have celebrated our relegation.

You wanted us in B and our scudetti? We ban your clubs from the rich European Cups (and take back what it's ours). :D

We absolutely have to appeal to Tar, absolutely!

(And I hope Moggi's and Giarudo's appeals will be enough for the European ban)

and now, the only problem is whether our team leaders want to appeal that far
I saw the president said a lot of things these days and none of them can convince me that they have the determination to fight to the end

funny that I saw fans in Italy making jokes about his talks with his name

Yep, doctor Cobolli and Mr Gigli. :D
It's true, our new managers know nothing about calcio and don't care much about this trial. After all, they aren't involved. They are the "new and honest managers called to repair the damages of the Triade" :rolleyes2
According to me they are incompetent and are the real punshment we got for calciopoli. I'd be less worried facing Serie B with the triade, than A with Coccobill (like he's also called).

No, our future is in the hands of Moggi, Giraudo, Della Valle and the fans of "Difendiamolajuve" who are collecting money to appeal to Tar themselves (I think I might donate something too one of these days).

wtf has fifa gotta do with our business?

what is "Difendiamolajuve"?
will it helpful for the fans to appeal to the TAR alone?
DifendiAMOlajuve (=let's defend Juve, with "amo" also meaning "(I) love") is an association officially born on August 9th with the aim of supporting Juve in a Tar appeal or to appeal themselves if Juve won't do it.
DifendiAMOlajuve is made by stake holders (the ones who have the right to appeal) and tifosi donating money to support their legal actions.

[I'd love to have an English version of their statements, 'cause I'd feel more confortable in talking about this with everyone being able to read directly from the source of the initiative (since there are money involved).]

is that mean even the leader of the team dont want to appeal to the TAR, but the stake holders do it, would Juve benifit from these actions?
Even the stake holders win the case they are not the legal representative of the club, so I dont know...

:agree:

Because the stake holders have a concrete interest in the club's fate, which is why they can appeal. If they win, the sportive verdicts get disallowed for everyone (they would be considered illegal and lose any value).

Why the hell they allow reggina and arezzo to use match video as evidence to defend them but the Champion of Italy cant have this "privilege"?
the development of this mess make me sick more
News travel fast.
Yes, what you say is true, incredible, but true. :yuck:

TAR, we have to appeal there, the sportive trials are a farce.

So they are well and truely going to screw this up by giving even less of a punishment? Absolutely amazing.

I'm convinved the people who are in charge of all these appeals in Italy have no balls. Punish the teams as necessary, and keep the punishment there. And if the teams find it necessary to continuing the crappy appeals, pull them out of the league and start the season on time.

Agree 100%---make that 1000%

at the absolute minimum:

1. A with a reasonable points deduction: 10-15
2. at least the scudetto of 2005/6

We have absolutely nothing to lose by holding out and threatening to go to TAR, ie, we are in the driver's seat, not them. If you're Juve, you ask for 1 and 2 above plus lo scudetto of 2004/5....and accept 1 and 2 only "as a compromise". If not, off to TAR we go--which won't hear the appeal until late December...meaning no calcio until then. We must remain firm--I would say that they'll cave--if not, no problem, we go to TAR.
agreed :agree:
