Inter will still be Inter, as much as they want to change that fact. Come back in 10 years and Inter will still be drinking the goo from Crissy Moran's fapped shoe. This is a fact.

Juve lodge second appeal against relegation

ROME, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Juventus lodged a second appeal on Tuesday against their relegation to Italy's Serie B for match-fixing.

Last week an appeals tribunal confirmed Juve should be thrown out of Serie A but reduced their points penalty at the start of next season to minus 17 from minus 30.

Juventus immediately announced they would appeal again to Italy's Olympic Committee (CONI). The appeal lodged on Tuesday is the last one the club can make to a sporting authority.

However Juventus, who were also stripped of the Serie A titles they won in the last two seasons, have said they are prepared to take their case higher by appealing to an administrative court

when will the verdict come out?
When they make the decision. :pint:

Don't expect anything on that appeal. "They" say that this appeal won't change the last decision.
The TAR del Lazio is the one and we'll have to wait another month+ for a decision.

This appeal thing is taking forever. First appealing to Rossi, then to CONI, and now some adiministration...Italy's sytem is way too fucked up.

Juventus lodge appeal with CONI

ROME (AFP) - Disgraced Italian football giants Juventus lodged their appeal with the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) against relegation to Serie B and a 17 point penalty for matchfixing seeking a reduction of their punishment.

However two other clubs found guilty of matchfixing Lazio and Fiorentina, who despite being reinstated into Serie A - though with 19 and 11 points having been docked - after an earlier appeal had said they would also appeal had yet to lodge their dossiers with CONI.

"For the moment Juventus is the only club to have lodged a dossier with us," a CONI spokesman told AFP.

No date for the hearing has yet been set, but the Serie A campaign gets underway on August 27.

All three former club administrators, Juventus duo Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo - banned from football for five years - and AC Milan's Adriano Galliani, who copped a nine month suspension have lodged their dossiers with CONI.

AC Milan have decided not to appeal to CONI, having been docked eight points but permitted to retain their place in the Champions League, subject to UEFA's stamp of approval.

CONI's role is not to try the cases again but to find a compromise over the punishments that suits both those found guilty and the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) - though a lot of observers have expressed their disdain at the leniency shown.

Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio have also said that they are prepared to go to court if they are not satisfied with the outcome.

Hopefully we can get more points reduced.
Somewhere around -10 points would be quite comfortable for 1st or second place now that Viola and Lazio are in Serie A.
Also, it would ease the mental pressures on players as the season begins.

If we are re-admitted to Serie A, it may not be desirable as now we just simply dont have time to buy replacements for our departed players, and may not gel as a team. I doubt whether we can be competitive enough to overcome the point deficit which shouldnt have been too problematic with our proper squad.

Does anyone know, whether it would be possible to appeal to the European Court, if UEFA does indeed kick us out of competition in case we are promoted to Serie A?
