Another question, for people who finished the game

So i first did minutemen jobs, then brotherhood of steel ones, then i went to goodneighbour and diamond city and did some jobs, then found the railroad and finished them too, what now? anything else to do before proceeding with the main quest? (going through the glowing sea)

MY main gripe with the game was its linear nature, you get to a certain point and there is like a dearth of quests.

all through the story they badmouthed the Institute, i sided with the brotherhood cause they're tough, but then when the Institute offered to make me leader i couldn't resist the temptation and then started shooting my brotherhood old buddies haha

I am getting seriously annoyed.
I am lvl 103, I have found all possible destinations on the map, all bobbleheads and all except two magazines. I have been trying for a long period of time to collect all bobbleheads and magazine so I have not done much to the main quest. Lately I have been working on receiving companions perks, now I have all but one. I have been walking around with Paladin dance or whatever his name is for ages. Feels like I've had him around more than all others combined. More tangibly, he has expressed that he likes something I've done on so many more occasions than any other. We've had several talks but he refuses to give me his perk. Do anyone know if there is some kind of limit, like, something in the main quest that has to occur before he can share his perk?

I have been to the brotherhood and the prydwen and done the side quests many times. In terms of main quest, I have only gone so far that I just teleported for the first time (guessing this will happen more than once) into the institute but I saved right afterwards so I haven't done anything more than that.

Getting annoyed, I wantz zee perk but cannot figure out why he is being difficult with me. He should like me enough by now... also, I saw on youtube that entering power armor gets his approval so I spent hours doing that but apparently for nothing. He liked it each time buuuut...

My work is done, until the DLC missions come along.


Now, on to Assassins Creed Syndicate (PS4), and Rise of the Tomb Raider (XBO)
