Anybody else named their favourite guns? I feel so American
    :agree:

Gaus rifle is amazing btw. Picked one from traider at Goodneighbor. One shot kill for most targets.

    - - - Updated - - -

Level 30 now and not even close to finishing the game. Played only handful of missions so far, while explored good part of the map and almost fully upgraded Sanctuary.

    Buy on AliExpress.com

And for only 600 caps , couldn't believe when I saw one on the stock. Two traders there so check it out.
Is it still the king of damage per shot ?

    - - - Updated - - -

Confirmed, "base gaus rifle outclasses a .50cal hunter rifle".

Note sure about a two shot hunter rifle tho

    Rifleman perk :klin:

    Rifleman perk :klin:
Without any upgrades it does 110 dmg per shot. Beastly. My second weapon is sniper (upgraded) that does 64 dmg and uses 50 cal.

559 from cleo, might have some barter skillbook boost or something

179 damage per shot, in its basic form  (lvl3 rifleman), my two shot nearly fulled modded sniper was 147 :D
Gotta take that perk soon. :D

All but Red Rocket, funnily enough, because I got sidetracked into doing all the others and million other missions. That's always my problem in these kind of games, I have trouble sticking to quest lines.

I think I'll get the Local Leader perk next and sort out supply lines, so I can use the tonnes of crap I've been scavenging and build it up properly. Laser turrets all over the roof ftw.

Stumbled across the Old Gullet Sinkhole yesterday, shit myself and ran upstairs to the nearest house. You'll see why.

    Jump down the sinkhole

Me too, though I fell down into some kind of cavern and escaped it :D

One thing I've only realised after hours of building up settlements is that it's pointless constructing sleeping quarters on second levels if you're doing so in and around pre-existing houses (like in sanctuary). I kept getting complaints that there weren't enough beds despite having ten spare.

Every settlement I have now has massive ground floor dorms with all beds inside and no more complaints, hope this helps you guys.

I'm at level 43 now (have been off work sick for 5 days so had nothing better to do :D) and I'm just passed the Valentine mission. Will take a break from the main storyline now as like someone said before me, I don't want it to finish too soon.

Most powerful weapon I have (bar any heavy weapons) is my full modded sniper rifle with the enemy tracking scope. Tend to use the .44 pistol with the bull barrel mostly though, I called it 'Dirty Harry' :D (I'm aware it's not the same type of gun but you get the idea)

Am I the only one who thinks miniguns are incredibly weak in their base state ?
Max damage with mods is like 12 I think, but the fire rate makes up for it.
Not sure if this is a spoiler but there is a specialist mini gun available
Have you picked up the one with incendiary rounds?

Currently buzy with non auto rifles, was thinking to get the gatteling laser instead ?

    - - - Updated - - -

Gotta take that perk soon. :D

    If i calculate this correctly

    110 damage
    220 damage with 5/5 rifleman
412.5 damage with shielded barrel and capacitor boosting coil
    ...this is without charging it

3.5x crit damage with sneak maxed

thats more damage then a fatman

Haven't come across that yet either. Most of my perks are non auto specific, haven't leveled up any of the energy weapon ones. Though they seem to work well against ghouls.

More satisfying blowing heads up with hunting rifles rather then turning enemies into ash piles

Yeah. My 147dmg hunter rifle (two shot legendary, powerfull receiver) has been a blast so far.

Damn, that's heavy. Haven't taken any of the perks that improve weapon dmg yet. Was more focused on obtaining perks more vital to settlement development, like local leader and cap collector, which allowed me to build trading posts and gather nice amount of caps any time I return to Sanctuary.

Stumbled upon deathclaw while doing witchcraft museum quest last night. It took 3 nukes to put that fucker down.

I don't think you need to have 10 charisma for max number of settlers. I have 9 charisma and 20 settlers. But yeah, it's pretty shitty number.
