What else could he have done? The ball was played in front of him to much the only option he had was to throw himself at the ball. Isn't it better than just watching it go straight to the defender to clear it? He tries so hard and people just criticise him just because they are Matri fan boys who has no talent at all.

He took a header keeper saved it then he shot and defender blocked it then he finished it, u guys are acting like he missed the ball completely 2 times in a row before he hit it. He reacted faster than every body else in the box 3 times thats why he scored. He bailed us out again 2 matches in a row when he has started what more do u guys want from a striker? Llorente was useless today contributed nothing but everything is Quags fault.

All the haters are just waiting for him to have 1 bad game to jump on his back which is completely wrong. He tries hard shoots doesn't do anything spectacular he just makes sure the ball is on target. I'm glad we kept him 2 goals in 2 games is good for a back up striker that is not 1st choice yet people still complain.

Nothing wrong with not being a fan. Nothing wrong with not rating him. But dont you think it's pretty sad, that even on a night when the team is playing like shit, he gets the job done, he is still criticised or laughed at or ridiculed? It's pretty appalling actually. Everyone knows Klin has no objectivity, but W is making a laughing stock of himself in this thread.

It's just the nature of this forum and being a fan. The same people asking why people hate on their own player(Quag) did the same thing to Giovinco in his thread through out the whole last year. Same thing with Marchisio or Vucinic.

And I guess him scoring a goal and people coming on here acting as if he's the bees knees even though he played a pretty mediocre game just rubs people the wrong way.

I said before the game that Qua + Llorente upfront = zero creativity, and that's exactly what it was. I mean, is it so hard for the coach to see that? Gio would've been better as he can beat his marker at times and put a cross in.

World class goal, about half a metre out, almost lost the ball under his feet but it went in in the end!

This is unbelievable. Only one player on the pitch was better than Quags today and that was Pogba. Yet some how this guy saves our asses AGAIN and all people can do is criticise him. He is a goal scorer nothing more but people are expecting him to have amazing build up play and play like Vucinic. There are other players u should be worrying about that are not performing in the team before u jump on Quags back for being a good back up striker. 2 games 2 goals he did his job others have not.
