I see nothing wrong in what he said.

Before injury, we were all here drooling on how good he was, but sadly he got injured. Last season he was not 100% and when he returned, mustache boy fuked him and matri pretty bad. Even then he had some good moments last season.

Im really not sure of letting him go. I like his style of play and his footwork is very nice. He is not a static forward and could be played anywhere else.... in fact if we end up without world class guy and get rid of matri (which seems likely) im pretty sure quags can step up into the CF role, as he is very capable of scoring.

Just try to remember how good he was and ull understand that we can definitely get something better from him still.

Btw, Quag looked sharp in the game, sure it was against kids, but movement etc was pretty good. Some neat flicks, combined really well with Vuci and top scorer in the game.

Assuming we sold him for the value some of you put on his head of 5m. Which forward of his level would you buy for that amount?! Posts like that are pretty imbecilic to begin with. And again, a lot of us, are making a mistake of jumping the gun as far as a player type like Quag is concerned.

A lot of us are judging him for being shit for the last one and a half years. But please let me remind you'll that off the last one and a half years he didn't even play for one year out of that duration. He featured over the second half of last season as part of a new system and played less than 5 games for the entire duration of 90 minutes if I'm not mistaken. He is not a four goal forward that he has been conveniently labelled. This is not about sentiment or anything of the sort, but I genuinely believe a player like Quag can be an impact level player if used to his strengths. He can play SS-CF and even a WF when required.

Assuming we have a forward line that consists of JoJo, Vucinic, Gio, Pazzini - I can assure you a player like Quag will make a big difference because of the versatility he will offer. Would be very interesting to see how you people felt when he was all guns blazing pre-injury. Some of the knee jerk reactions can wait till the season starts to know how much the player will truly contribute to the cause of the team. He may not be a prima-donna, marquee player, but he is the perfect support cast member of any team, because he has a great work ethic and some pretty neat skill. There's no doubt in my mind that being available from the start of the season is going to bring a different player from the one we saw last season. Better fitness, better understanding of tactics and most importantly, psychologically renewed.

I have no idea what conclusion I'm suppose to make out of all of this but it still doesn't make Quag any better than he is. He's average, never been a good scorer or particularly very good at anything, declining and he had a brief period of good football, 2 years ago! Even Amauri was guns blazing his first 6 months for us.

He brings absolutely nothing to us that we don't have and he's way back in the pecking order. Vucinic, Giovinco, Matri and a potential new signing in attack are all ahead of him.
