Conte about Quags: “He’s come back from a nasty injury, which I’m fully aware of having experienced a similar injury myself. I’m a big fan of his and believe he can give us an important step up in quality. He just needs to give me the opportunity of saying: “this week he’s been the best, I’ll pick him”. When this happens, he’ll play.”

I just want to see the guy play, he had such a good preseason.. well, we just have to be more patient, i think....

Quag has been scoring regularly in training so that's just an excuse. I refuse to believe Vucinic is the most impressive in training week in and week out, being the lazy goat that he is.

Conte seems to say that every player in the squad is "quality" or "fundamental" or something along those lines. Quag needs to get some game time and so does Elia. It's not like we've been winning every game.

Pepe looks like a cross between Zidane and Nedved in training. True story.

It's clear that with Quag being sent to play with the Primavera a couple of weeks ago he still has some match fitness issues. He is coming back from a very serious injury. I'm sure he'll get a chance.
