“Questo infortunio cambia le carte in tavola- ha detto il ds bianconero- siamo contenti di Fabio e proveremo a prenderlo. Ma le cifre cambiano”.

But I cant find a source other than some fanpage, so probably bullshit.

Isn't the asking price already decided in his contract, like Aqua's?
Yeah, but that only means it only depends on us, we dont need a new agreement with Napoli to get him for that price. However, that doessnt mean we cant negotiate a new price if we want, and if Napoli agrees.

Can we also negotiate with Liverpool over Aquilani?

Can we also negotiate with Liverpool over Aquilani?
Yep.

The option only means it up to us to decide if we want to keep him for the predetermined price, it means the other team has given its acceptance in advance. Therefore, if we decide to use our option they cant refuse the offer, because they have already agreed to it.

However, that doesnt stop us from being able to negotiate another price. It also means they can refuse to accept such a lower price, but we can negotiate.

So are we gonna take up our option to sign him, then?
Depends really if we're gonna sign a replacement for him this month. If that happen then IMO we either will not sign him next summer "OR" our directors won't give Del piero a new contract.

Really can't see 3 players playing similar position as an SS next season. Waay too many.
