Were you not crying all this time for letting Diego go and bringing in someone like Quag? Weren't you moaning how he will not impress and wont do this or that?

Oh and I think he's worth it, just because you said you don't think he's worth it.

Letting Diego go was a mistake and Quag is not a suitable replacement. He's playing well though for his level though, so at least I'm happy he's contributing and maybe in the future his loan/buy will be justified.

Anyway, are you a mod really? You are obsessed with me, you really should be more detached. Still think all my posts are about trolling Del Piero? LOL.

I love Diego more than you ever heard of him the first time, but letting him go wasn't that bad. Quag is working hard and has been doing well so far.

This makes me wonder that the moment you hate on a player makes me automatically love him even more because you're never spot on.

In fairness Quag isn't all that great. He is passable as a striker, nothing more nothing less. His main weakness is his inability to link up with his partners. He's far too selfish for my liking and seeing as he's not the best finisher going around his selfishness is only to his and the teams detriment. Never the less, he still finds himself in the right positions occasionally and manages to score but he could score more for the kind of service he's getting from our midfield.

Everyone's just calling him 'great' because he's better then Amauri and IQ.

Letting Diego go hasn't been so bad because our midfield has been picking up the slack, Krasic especially and created a lot of good scoring chances. We would be a lot more dynamic and lethal with both Diego and Krasic in the team, but that boat has sailed.

Never spot on? Ever? I wanted Krasic here, I wanted Aquilani to play and they are doing very well, especially the awesome Serb. I thought Bonucci's transfer was positive and he's doing well too. Pepe is mediocre like and lost his position to a central midfielder but I admit he's not as bad as I thought he was.

I said Martinez is a terrible transfer and so far he's proving me right, he's been the beauty queen of the emergency room.

Quag and Aquaman cannot play in E.L matches right? Is this gonna change in January? (If we're still in the E.L. competition of course)

I never called him great, and very few members did call him great I think. But the way Quag is treated by some is plain ridiculous.
I'm not referring to anyone in particular. He gets too much praise though, and he's definitely not worth buying from what I've seen so far.

He's already got 3 goals. He works his ass off for the team and provides us with something different.

But, again, you would never hear a former favourite like Diego copping as much slack as a player like Quag...and we all know the reasons why.

Forza Quag, keep proving the haters wrong.

Diego scored 5.

Quag has scored 3.

Go figure.
Their roles are different though, Diego had a lot of assists and was very involved in almost all our chances last year. And come on, Quag has Krasic, Melo on form, Aqua and Marchisio providing assists and chances while Diego had a very shitty midfield last year (Melo disappearing, Marchisio having a very anonymous year, Sissoko being, well, him) to deal with that isolated him too much.

It'd be interesting to see him in this new Juventus but I'd doubt we would of signed Aquilani if Diego did not go.

I'd rather have Aquilani than Diego.

I don't think so, we signed Aquilani when it was apparently decided that Diego wasn't leaving. I still think he's a sort of down payment for Dzeko.
