Is this the first time you see a player doing very well playing at youth teams and then never living up to the hype? And why do you think none of our coaches trusted him enough to give him a starting spot? It wasn't only Ranieri, Giovinco couldn't get a place under Ciro and Zac too. As inept as they might be as tacticians (I say it to save your time mentioning that) they still know more than you and me. I like Givinco and I hope he does well in Parma as he is still our player but he hasn't done anything special in his career and I'd prefer to have Quag in our team any day (replying to the guy who said Quag is average at best and we must recall Gio).
I don't care about what the other coaches have done, I'm just giving you my thoughts about Seba from the times I've seen him play and when I've seen him play, I think he has been really good.

The question is, why didn't Ranieri give him the chance when he had so many assists and was creating so much for us out there?

Well obviously that has a lot to do with Napoli's away game tactics. That's exactly why I said people shouldn't look to much into those statistics.
Yes, but you have to start looking at them at some point. Other than a few marvel goals, he's not exactly a prolific scorer. Amauri is getting a lot of shit for not scoring 20+ goals a season, yet we're being easy on this average clown whose only hope is to replicate his average form.

yes quag can never be diego's replacement...but what i saw in him during the world cup that he was a decent player, with strange luck of goals...so i hope he does well here...
The world cup is not enough parameter to look at a player. 11 goals for Napoli, and never more than 14 per year, even if a few are nice, is not good enough to play in Juventus.

He would've been our top-scorer last season with 11 goals. Just rotate him and DP properly and it should be fine.
