I think Quag will reject though. And let's be honest, he can do better. The thing is, most clubs in Italy know that Quag/Matri need to be sold. They will hold theirselves and bitch Juve about. Meanwhile, you'll have the clubs outside of Italy more eager to close a deal quicker. And maybe that would inflate their value a bit, while also give them similar wages if not more. I expect both to go abroad if they are sold, but I think as players they can do better than the likes of Norwich, Southampton and even Zenit, mainly because the Russian league isn't as relevant for these two at least.

Quag is an extremely dedicated, hardworking player that is always reliable when called upon, can play either CF or SS to great ability, scores wonderful aesthetically pleasing goals, was our CL top scorer, copes very well under pressure, can actually a control a ball, higher work rate, makes good passes and assists, scores more in general, always manages to fight back from the worst chances against him, far more decisive, loves the club and teammates, is adored by fans (standing ovation @ JS first goal back 11-12), has bigger biceps and all around general awesome dude.

I don't want to get into the argument here but I kinda agree with what you just said. Quag is just the better player.

In the end I'd keep Quag ahead of Matri but tbh at this point we should sell one that will bring us some good cash. Maybe even both.
