Do you remember the times when you wanted Nedved to retire to play Giovinco? I do.
Yes. Your point being?! That was like 4-5 years ago, when Nedved was on his last legs and Giovinco looked promising. It's not my fault that Gio failed to deliver on that early promise, or that his growth and development has stagnated at an alarming rate.

You know what is even more silly and pathetic than my suggestion? The fact that you feel the need to bring it up after all those years. Quite sad really. Have a beer chump  ;)

Lol, Giovinco never failed to deliver on that promise.... Lets just admit it people. Juventus and Juventus alone fucked up his career cause at the time when Giovinco came out, Italy and Juventus werent ready at that time for a modern football that Giovinco offered. We were stuck with the 4-4-2, with those fucking long balls that give me chills on my back when i even think about them.

Actually there were plenty of those who wanted Seba to replace Neddy in his last couple of seasons. I handled them well I remember. Ala Del Piero style of course.

First, Nedved retired on a high. He was still full of running by the time he retired and never lacked class. You actually wanted Giovinco to be given a starting place over Nedved in 2008/09 after Giovinco's Empoli loan stint! Not mentioning the amount of insults you showered in the Nedved thread.

And I agree it's sad. I remembered this because the first ban I ever got on Tuz was while defending Nedved, a bit too much maybe :D

Is this true @Bianconero81 ?

Oh boy, I'd have a serious bone to pick with you back then. :D thankfully I was m.i.a. Juve and my personal life were going through quite a lot of turmoil in the Tamoil times. :D

:agree: Nedved was still going strong even in 2009, I remember Mourinho wanted him at Inter for the 2009/2010 season. Would have won a CL with them, but Pavel is a fucking Juventino through and through and stayed loyal.

@baggio Yes. I was foolish for making that suggestion; hindsight is a bitch. I genuinely believed in Giovinco, and thought he exhibited massive potential. I am a big fan of Nedved (still am), but sometimes you need to make tough decisions. I am glad the club thought otherwise :D

Regarding Quag, I wonder how you are going to handle his departure this summer :p

B81 is willing to get rid of old players just for the sake of it. That's how he rolls :D
I never wanted DP gone. I was also terribly disappointed that we let go of Trez.

Sometimes I want younger players gone too, especially when I think they aren't good enough. You know whom I speak of :D

It's not hindsight if you were the only who could not see it coming.

You can't blame Juventus for this. If he had more fight, and more heart, he'd try to prove the board and the fans wrong. I was one of Gio's biggest supporters back in the day, but thus far he has shown little to suggest that he is worthy of anything but a bench role (if even that) at a club of Juve's stature and pedigree.

Was I the only one though? According to Rab, there were many others who held Giovinco in high regard and wanted him to displace Neddy in the starting 11 :boh:

I love Nedved, but the Nedved of the last 2 seasons was nowhere near the same Nedved between the years of 2002-2007.

No, you were ridiculous/preposterous/bizarre/absurd/laughable/farcical/outrageous/nonsensical when you said that. It still doesn't make it right if others thought the same.
