Just remember that he was amazing before that bad injury.....thats all im saying people.....
He has never played in a top team, before this or at least one with a midfield like ours. If he (touchwood) can stay injury free and feature enough, I think he can be a devastating player for us. And i hope this can be a season he gets his due, because for me, he has been terribly unlucky the last year and a half. And had the cojones to stay focussed, never ask for a transfer, infact rejected them, to stay and fight for his place at Juve. Mark of a champion for me.

Elkann hails Quagliarella and Juve
By Football Italia staff

Juventus patron John Elkann has celebrated the return to form of striker Fabio Quagliarella after his recent scoring exploits.

The forward netted the equaliser at Chelsea in the Champions League last week, before grabbing a brace against Chievo at the weekend.

“Quagliarella is undoubtedly showing that he is a very strong player,” the FIAT President noted. “We have demonstrated that we have top players and Quagliarella is one of many at Juventus.

“The game against Chievo on Saturday illustrated that this side knows how to score goals,” he added seeing as the Old Lady are the League’s most prolific with 11 goals in four games to date.

Elkann, grandson of Gianni Agnelli, also returned to the club’s Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge last week.

“There was the reaction that I had hoped for,” he noted of his side’s fight-back from 2-0 down to collect a 2-2 draw. “I, like all Juventus fans, was very happy.

“Chelsea played well, but Juventus showed that we have character.

“It is not easy to start a Champions League campaign away to the reigning champions, but it proved that Juventus are a great side.”

I still think he's underrated around here, even at his very best, people just think of him as good or mediocre. If he keeps up this form and plays reguarly (say around 25-30 starts [unrealistic?]) he should get around 15 goals at least.

I don't see what's wrong with that, and not any seasons, their best Juve seasons. I still said Mirko is a better player, it doesn't make Quag more crucial to our game but I think he can be a more effective player in terms of goals + assists.
Yes indeed he really is underrated here, too many ppl wanted him out, despite the fact that he is the closest thing we have into a CF and Marotta's inability to sell anyone for a decent price. I believe it all starts from Conte though, he is the one who prefered Borriello to Quaqs...
And i do reckon that he has consistency issues... and therefore it is important to get the better off him, now that he is on fire!

At any case, the proper offer would have been to swap him for Pazzini, but the Milano clubs conspired against us once again...

You almost made a good post for once and then you had to ruin it with that.

Where's that guy who was bitching about Quags doing nothing? I bet he cheered his ass off when he scored.
well. Quagliarella didn't score for a year.. On top level that's not good enough. He appears to be back but NONE could know that! You believed in him but only those who coach him every day can really tell whether he's good or bad. Same goes for anyone else - if you're in the squad it's because someone (Conte) knows more then the fans. Quagliarella is likable, so don't play cool just because you "won" a bet here.. For all I know you're not better then this if you don't score for over a year, injury or no injury:

I have a problem with those that make hasty decisions based on pre season games.

I've had it with this argument. Some people just don't get it. And just for the record, he scored 4 goals last season, playing less than 5 full 90 minute games. What are you fucking expecting?

Comparing Amauri to Quagliarellia is worse than comparing Motta to Lichtsteiner.
