Sounds like an idea. After all why would you want a homegrown player anyway? I mean, come on, he's from the city our club is from FFS! What good can possibly come of that?
Why Marchisio exactly? I don't remember anyone complaining about him. (Except Vinman...who is ITALIAN)

You know why?
Because he doesn't suck and if a player is good he can be Italian or Mongolian and it won't matter.

What about De Ceglie? Another homegrown player. Wanna keep him too?

Wanna swap Modric for Marchisio?
I would. I think he's the better player or if not better, then at the same level. As a Croat of course I'd prefer Modric to Marchisio if the Italian isn't better. And I'd understand an Italian preferring Marchisio over Modric.

It isn't hard to get, is it? It's not about a choice between Modric and Marchisio with Marchisio winning. It's about a choice between Diego and Quag with Quag winning or Marquez and Rinaudo and Rinaudo winning.

If this guy scores more than 20 goals this season in any competition, you can ban me for ever.

Note: Goals scored in his bedroom are considered also.

Not that it's any of my business but how will you know how much he'll score in his bedroom, unless you're the one playing against him there? :D

There is no doubt at all that Modric is a much better player than Marchisio, and if people remember my posts and opinions on Marchisio, they'd know i rate him.

De Ceglie could be a decent back up player. Covers two-three positions. As a starter I'm not impressed though.
