The logical thing to do is look everywhere else to distribute the blame
  • I mean its not like Paratici (and his compadre) beefed with Allegri to fire him just so they could bring in a less qualified, yet preferred replacement
  • It's not like Paratici decimated the our depth at fullback over the course of 3 seasons. Sending away the likes of Pellegrini, Spinna, while leaving us thin on both sides
  • It's not like he prefers looking for market opportunities instead of fixing the midfield by rebuilding it properly, piece by piece. That's Marotta's fault clearly.
  • It's not like our depth issues are so pervasive across nearly every department that any coach would be hard pressed to find a decent starting XI. It's Peerloughs fault for selecting the wrong ingredients throughout the season

Agnelli has done a great job. From finishing 7th to 9 scudetto in a row amongst other things. I'll never forgive him for how Del Piero and Trez were treated be that's a different story.

The blame is on our marketing directors for not fixing our midfield.

He hired Sarri given most of the players in this team were/are not adept at playing his style of football. Biggest misjudgment you can ever make.

He should have stayed as a talent scout or below someone who knows a thing or two in squad planning.
It's JUve thing though, not just Tici himself. Coaches don't get to decide, the club seems to look for opportunities, instead of buying what you actually need. This is why the midfield is shit for at least 3 years now.

No one will convince me that Allegri and especially Sarri didn't want to strengthen the midfield. Pirlo is another story, he surely is happy to just be here.

Morata, Chiesa, Kulusevski and McKennie scored 25 goals so far this season. They also had 15 assist.

Not to mention that besides Morata these are young guys with potential for further growth.

Massive work from Tici and his team last year. Kudos.

Rookie coach is the reason we're so far behind in Serie A though.
Really thank you for this post ....

Pirlo is the problem right now , we have great squad with great depth given... a Ferrari given to a truck driver

If we are honest we have been on a downward spiral since he stepped up.
Actually we been on a downward spiral since we sold our world class mids and replaced them with only good to averege players.
38 million for vidal is a joke . Also replacing a wc mid with a wc attacker didn't do us any favours in the long run.
The issue started to become more apparent during the 2017 - 2018 season.

Dismantling was infuriating

but we never set to rebuild the middle has been far more detrimental (obviously)

Unfortunately the Ronaldo acquisition (comercial reasons) and Bonnucci - Rugano partnership against Ajax , showed us that there were more pressing matters than the midfield ,at the time .

Maybe it get's addressed this summer mercato ,but the amount of jabronis we have to get rid of is staggering which is going to affect our budget.

I don't see us buying 2 starting mids . If we go out against Porto then it's going to take a miracle to actually have a good midfield .

Also depth has become a problem since we seem to have a bunch of players that just can't stay fit .

And now with Alex Sandro( badly decreasing quality) and Cuads (aging ) we are soon going to scramble to find 2 starting fullbacks.
A better squad planning is needed.

he's had 2 seasons to fix midfield and the only signing that has managed to really play well is mckennie.

his other signings have been been bad
