9m a year for this guy is mental. Especially as he is surplus at Man Utd.

Look at our wages vs the rest of Serie A, we are going to be making bizarre sales to fund this every season.
That is why they wanted to get rid of him he is lazy and has gained weight the same problems higuain had when he joined us

Mandzukic and Dybala to Man Utd?
By Football Italia staff

There are growing reports Juventus are pushing Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala towards Manchester United, with Romelu Lukaku eager for a Turin switch.
Multiple sources in Italy claim Lukaku has agreed personal terms with the Bianconeri at €9m per year, while the two clubs are ready to enact an exchange.
The only hold-up is Dybala himself, who is unsure about the move and his representatives are demanding €12m per season plus bonuses.
La Joya flew in to Turin on Thursday morning from Argentina and went straight to his home rather than the Juve training ground, but is expected to meet with Coach Maurizio Sarri today.
The Corriere dello Sport warns Dybala won’t make much progress, because Juventus are practically ordering him to accept the transfer.
According to Le 10 Sport, one of the reasons behind his resistance is the possibility Paris Saint-Germain will make a bid later in the summer.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport, Goal and others are now suggesting Mandzukic was discussed with Manchester United too, although he’d be a separate deal to Lukaku and Dybala.
The 33-year-old Croatia international striker only signed a contract extension in April that runs to June 2021, but has little chance for playing time under Maurizio Sarri.
He has also been linked with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
Mandzukic scored 10 goals with seven assists in 33 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri last season and is valued at around €20m.

To be fair to Beppe, when he used to make crap transfers, it usually wasn't costing us a lot of money. Bendtner, Anelka, Osvaldo just to name a few . Did little damage financially.

But Lukaku and potentially Danilo for a good amount of money and crazy wages ? This feels like irresponsible spending imo.

Right back is going to be a huge problem, the midfield has improved but not significantly and jury's out on our attacking quality. All depends on how Sarri is going to make this work.

The mercato has went from great to mixed and even disappointing.

With the new tax law in Italy Lukaku with a higher wage than Dybala, a new contract, will cost the club less, an old contract.

The midfield has a huge improvement, to not call it significant is big understatement. Both of the midfield additions are better than every midfielder we had except for Pjanic. That's 2 starters, hardly an insignificant change.
