Metro, Daily Mail... come on, man

It's possible that was his reason, but for now it's just speculation afaik
Speculation like Tottenham and Juve agreeing, speculations like Juve and United agreeing. No club came out and said anything. No agent or player either. So speculation as well.

I think it's clear now that we want to build a team that is super physical. In defense De Ligt, Demiral and even Romero (once he comes) all fit the description of being physical and playing with intensity. Both Rabiot and Ramsey work hard and can play a fast based game too.

Perhaps Sarri saw the lack of intensity as a weak point in his Chelsea side and doesn't want to make the same mistakes here. This current team is build to play fast high-energy football, I hope we can take advantage of that.

Talking about Kean, not Dybala.
If the rules of speculation apply to one situation, they apply to the other situation.

If I agree that the news with no official word from clubs, agents or players on Kean then the same applies to Dybala and you have nothing to worry about with Dybala until it's not speculation. See how that works?

Okay but think about the Dybala to United rumors. All these rumors circling and then it came to nothing. We don't know what happened. People are up in arms over no information except known flawed information. It is all speculation.

Tottenham bid, same thing. I'm sure clubs bid on players all the time, especially one like Dybala who had a bad season and looks like he may not fit our system or current list of players or maybe Tottenham saw the United rumors and figured they'd try a bid. We don't know. But people are all up in arms over a bid from another club that we have no idea what occurred.

If there really were eyes and ears inside the rooms, we'd be getting much more accurate information more regularly. Yet somehow even the best sources are right less than half the time and some supporters are more than ready to get whipped into a tizzy over a source that on their best days is right less than half the time and that source is now feeding us insider, very private negotiations and telling us player's emotional states (Dybala is angry with Juve) and such. It's fucking comical.
The players or people close to them sometimes feed such information to the press. You cannot exclude such scenario.

You think the club is going to come out to confirm or deny every rumour that pops up in the tabloids?

"Yes, Kean left because he wanted to be a starter, not because of plusvalenza."

Once it appears in the press and the clubs/players don't address it, then it's true... Really?

Where did I say that? I am saying, going by your logic that there was no official word of Kean wanting starting time so therefore it's speculation, going by that logic, no official word of this Dybala stuff should be considered with the same level of speculation. It's your own logic. Both situations involve speculation, one of them you choose to call it speculation, the other has people overreacting when it reality both situations are speculations. That was what I was highlighting.
The players or people close to them sometimes feed such information to the press. You cannot exclude such scenario.
Of course I cannot exclude it. But that doesn't mean it's what has happened. It's just as likely there is nothing to it because it's speculation.

Gross Wages & Amortization is ~70M higher than last yr according to this analysis.
let's add that this article summarizes the state of the squad and related finances on the 5th august. it's obvious we won't start the season with 28 players, and cancelo is already replaced by danilo, who's a cheaper option. those numbers mentioned about danilo are a bit inaccurate too.

anyway, it's clear that we're forced to sell at least 6 players. pjaca, perin, khedira, dybala are on their way out, so is rugani probably. that still would leave us with 23 players without any acquisitions, which is one too many. if pellegrini is loaned out, that's still not enough to sign a striker. so one of mandzukic and higuain is likely to be sold, and we'd have one single left back in that case.

it's gonna be a busy season for someone.

I think in case of injuries some youth players might get their chance. We will probably be light in some areas no matter how the transfer market finishes.

yeah, it's obvious since we sold our 2 homegrown players. imo that was one terrible strategic move from the club.

No.

Sarri is the biggest mistake the club made, and sacking Beppe for Paratici was the next biggest error.

Selling Kean, Dybala, Cancelo and Spinazzola is just the icing on the cake.
I'm open to selling all those players if the funds are invested in getting a top, top player like Pogba or even SMS. Not for fucking Lukaku and Danilo.

i can see what you are saying and i can also see the merit in that when you want to challenge in europe but where does lukaku fit in?

Hey Guys, I just wanted to bid you all farewell, I’m officially done with this club, I’ve followed this team since the age of 15 when my uncle first took me to a live game at the old Stadia Delle Alpi. Some might think I’m being very pessimistic in the midst of the current goings on with the club but this is the final straw for me sadly.

I idolised Del Piero growing up and the way he was sent packing still haunts me today, I stuck with this team through thick & thin and had to accept to various decisions the hierarchy had made but what they did to Claudio Marchisio was literally scraping the barrel, it was just too much to stomach. I’m a little older than some of you here and currently, I have my son in tears asking me “Papa why are they treating Paulo this way?” I simply have no answers anymore so with a heavy heart, it’s time to say goodbye to you all.

I felt the same way a few days ago. You'll get over it.

Sad to see you go. But is there a way for us to gain some plusvalenza here?

Joking aside, I'm sad you feel it has come to this. You've been a member for a long time and I still remember our talks many years ago. I'm quite perplexed to see you draw the line at the potential sale of Dybala, though.
