Cannavaro did a lot for this club and in the position he was in it was perfectly understandable to leave for Real. Also he returned when he still had more attractive options at the time. Should have been included in the list of 50 legends but the pain of Calciopoli was too recent.

Why are we giving Zlatan shit for leaving if it's ok that Canna did the same ?

Cannavaro votes for Pirlo & Iniesta

Fabio Cannavaro has backed Juventus’ Andrea Pirlo or Andres Iniesta of Barcelona to win the 2012 FIFA Ballon d’Or.

The two players are among the 23-man shortlist for the honour whose winner will be announced on January 7.

“Pirlo is a player with extraordinary qualities,” the 2006 victor told France Football. “Not only did he win the Scudetto with Juventus, but he also took Italy to the Final of the European Championship.

“Meanwhile, Iniesta continues to confirm his qualities,” the ex-Italian international captain continued.

“He really is incredible. He is a fundamental player for his club and for Spain.”

1. Because we didn't want to keep Canna
2. Because Canna didn't go to Inter
3. Because Canna didn't ask for a wage increase after we were relegated

Actually I am not giving Zlatan shit for leaving either. He is a disgusting douchebag and I am happy he's gone.

True Zlatan did leave Juve for Inter but so did Davids and he's still a huge legend and one of my all time favourite players, yes he didn't leave on a bad note like Zlatan but still

I'm happy Ibra and Cannavaro played for Juve, Cannavaro was easily one of the best CB's during his time alongside Thuram.

I just can't imagine what would have happened had we not gotten relegated..i'd say we'd have another CL trophy in the cabinet :/

Del Piero would have left in 2006.

Yeah. He was benched half a season in 03/04 over a contract dispute, before leaving on loan to Barcelona. That is, if I remember it correctly.

Furthermore I think Davids had a lot of private issues, which Moggi felt burdened the team.

Too bad Appiah completely flopped as his replacement. We were supposed to win the CL that season.
