RAPE.... this just in breaking news from CNN
Several members of the Ghanaian national team have been arrested on rape charges. The names of the accused are being with held to avoid a media frenzy. On the cold night of Feb 6 2007 three members of the Super Eagles claimed to have been gang raped by " short athletes wearing white jerseys with black trim. One was described to have a head full of braids. "
" there was just too many of them, I couldn't make out any faces." one of the victims was quoted as saying.
The alleged gang rape took place at the Brentford stadium, which has since been shut down to the public in order for British police to collect evidence. Supposedly there were over 10,000 witnesses, and police are urging any who were there to come forward and cooperate.
District Attorney Ayo Akinfe says he is putting together a strong case with 10 vital pieces of evidence. " Those who are responsible will not get away with such a vicious and cowardly act." he was quoted as saying.
There has been much speculation that the victims were indeed Taiye
Taiwo, Seyi Olofinjana, and Obinna Nwaneri, but this is not yet confirmed.
The accused Black Stars are assembling a Dream team of defence lawyers who claim that " No rape took place that night, but concentual
sex did occur." They are quick to point out the promiscuous past of many of the Super Eagles players, and are calling witnesses to testify that they give it up easy. They will be calling the likes of the Laudrup brothers, members of the Angolan national team, and Jimmy Gatete who claimed to have slept with the entire Eagles defence in one night.
D.A. Ayo Akinfe claims that it is unfair for the defence to try an assasinate the character of the victims, because they have not had a good father figure since 1994 When Westerhoff looked after them. Ever since then they have been brought up by dead beat fathers such as CCC and Eguavoen, who are partly to blame for the Super Eagles slutty reputation.
