Asa did really impress me before the african cup but after that he simply ran down the firld and cut back because he didnt have options. But Asa isnt one to beat his man all the time he sure does lock the lane defensively though. I wouldnt mind him as a lwb, all im saying a proprer lwb would be nice

Real really wants to get rid of him. A good ol' loan + option buy could really work at this point. No need for Zuniga or Kolarov. I would love to see some offence finally coming from our wings.

Better wingman than anybody we currently have, IMO.

We should pounce on that loan option if possible

and keep isla ffs.
If we did land Coentrao, we would be using asa as a sub or shifting him to his natural position in the center. How do you rate Asamoah as a CM, knowing how much you rate him as a LWB.

Coentrao would be awesome on the Left. Great to have an offensive threat outwide to open up the middle. Nando would feast on the crosses Isla and Coentrao will be feeding him. The only small question mark I have about him would be his lifestyle off the pitch.

Coentrao would be epic and with 3 real players already going to italy I see him definitely taking a good look at the league but Marotta has his work cut out if we really are interested in him.

I would love to see that, but I just don't see how Sanchez, Vucinic and Gio will be bench players at the club. The only way I see Sanchez come is Vucinic leaves. And I doubt that'll happen if we get rid of Matri and Quag. So while I agree about your analysis about who we could get on LwB ((Zuniga/Coentrao/Kolarov), I do think the striker/wing forward will be along the lines of a younger prospect like Ibarbo or if we push the envelope a bit, then maybe, just maybe Nani.

But if we sell Matri we will need a sub CF to replace Llorente unless Vucinic is planned to be Llorente sub or we plan a 433.
