I thought it was points not rankings for the draw, fuckin sky sports :andy2:
I'd trust Fifa on this one:

The dates for the play-off matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ have been confirmed.

Teams will be seeded on the basis of the next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, which will be published on 16 October. A draw will also be conducted to determine the home teams for the first legs.

The play-offs will be played over two legs on 14 and 18 November 2009. The draw for these matches will be conducted on Monday 19 October 2009 in the Home of FIFA in Zurich.

We deserved not to go.... atleast I'll be able to enjoy football and place some rational bets during next summer instead of harassing myself with alcohol after watching NT being raped all over the pitch by flying donkeys of Togo....
We have ourselves to blame, true, but fuck we are definitely WC worthy. At least shit more than fucking Ukraine. We were crippled with injuries the whole time, but it's no excuse.

My biggest worry is which brilliant tactician will take charge now. :sigh:

Bosnia & Herzegovina

I hope we get Greece or Russia...or better to say, i only want to avoid France, we can play with others.

And I must say that FIFA destroy football with seeded teams in play offs...the small teams have a litlle chance in this situation, but we will fight.

I'm going to say something about the FIFA Coca Cola (even the name is a fucking joke) rankings though. What a complete disgrace it is. How can there be a group looking like this:

1. Slovakia 19 pts
2. Slovenia 17 pts
3. Czech Rep. 15 pts
4. Northern Ireland 14 pts
5. Poland 11 pts
6. San Marino 0 pts

... when Sweden, Denmark and Portugal are in the same group, as were we in the same group with Denmark and Spain for the last Euro qualifyers? We've played in every major tournament since the World Cup in France 1998 ffs, and what do we get for that? Competing with the like of Gabon for 40:th place.

Did you watch this match? He was just incredible, I've never seen him play like this and those 2 goals from him were just

Vidic, Obradovic, Ivanovic, Subotic, Krasic, Kacar, Stankovic, Jovanovic... hell, :juventus:
I was reading about Subotic that day, how good he is? Should we go for him? Juve Material? :seven:

Those rankings are indeed fucked up. Sweden, the team that always makes it to the big tournaments is 41st while Northern Ireland is 31st, Bulgaria 19th, Israel 22nd and Scotland 30th.

Apart from the Bulgarians who made it for Euro 2004 (where they were destroyed 5:0 by Sweden) no other team of the 3 teams above played in any of the last 5 big tournaments (EURO and WC) or made some good results in the qualifications (they've always been worse than Sweden in the qualifiers).
So how on earth can Bulgaria be 22 places above Sweden? How can Israel be 19 places above Sweden, and most of all, how can Northern Ireland, the team that is usually a punching bag in the qualifiers be 10 places above Sweden?

The fucked up ratings explain why there is a group consisted of Sweden, Denmark and Portugal.

Subotic is a really good player, especially for his age. Mates of mine at uni are Dortmund fans and I sometimes attend games with them and he's been really good every time I've seen him 'live'.

fuck that bald scandinavian fag Obredo, hopefully he retires as soon as possible and stops ruining football matches with his dumb decisions. absolutely undeserved penalty against Latvia in the 2nd minute of 2nd half, that completely demoralized our team and ruined the game plan completely. I can understand referees, who are too much of a pussies to give a penalty where it has to be given, but the likes that Obredo gave yesterday just shows pure stupidity and nothing more. once more, big fuck you, god, that moron makes me hate whole Norway.
