I like Portugal mainly for sending England out of tournaments in recent years.
Now you're talking my language. Europe at least owes Portugal a debt of gratitude for being the anti-England.

Tiago to the rescue? :shifty:
You'd laugh, but he was one of the best players on the pitch a couple of internationals ago. So naturally Queiroz subbed him and they floundered to a draw.

At least he actually gets punished when he plays for Scotland.

For Celtic he can do this stuff all the time and the refs just let him get on with it.

Scotland-Macedonia is a very entertaining match between two very weak teams. Actually, the weaknesses of these teams is what makes it easy to create a lot of chances against them.
I didn't expect much from Macedonia, but Scotland is an unpleasant surprise to me. I never thought that they're this weak.

The team Scotland had out is shit, but we do have good players that get ignored.

The defensive midfielder, Alexander, is one of the worst players I've seen play for Scotland and I can probably run faster than the centre halfs.

Only six of the team Scotland played today would be in my strongest Scotland XI.

McFadden is a dick, but you have to have him in the team because he can do something from nothing.
He's a good player and i don't think you have a better player than him, at least in his position.

Today you could score a lot in the last 20 minutes but it's only because the Macedonians, especially their slow defenders, couldn't even breath.
But until then i've seen a loooooot of weaknesses, which any half ok team shouldn't have.
If Pandev didn't choke with his last touch and if you didn't have Gordon (amazing goalkeeper) you could have found yourself 0:3 down if the Macedonians had a little luck.
Macedonia is a below average team and Scotland mustn't allow such teams create against you with ease, especially not in Glasgow.

Maybe the importance of this match made your guys nervous, but the ball control, positioning and passing were criminally weak in the first hour of today's match.

Macedonia should have been ahead at half time, but Scotland were exceptionally bad in the first half.

Scotland had Weir (can't run) and McManus (hasn't played this season) at CB and Alexander (can't run) in front of them, so they were always going to struggle.

It's all set up for glorious failure against Holland on Wednesday. :D
