http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf9fx4ipF4Q and ireland doesnt even play france, problem solved

We lost fair and square, ref was on Portugal side but still didn't do anything that affected result so I have no complaints on him.

We were awful, we missed our key players, and worse we missed our chance in Portugal where we missed three great chances which we would usually score. Still I'm proud, we played great trough qualifiers and showed that we can play with the best. I have some young players and talents and I hope that in next years we will be only better, especially if we find some decent defenders.

Still Portugal is bunch of dining cunts no matter what.

just seen the replay...:| it's so stupid that a wrong call could decide the qualification of a football nt. Why aren't they doing it like in american football, with 3 challenges

The ref was downright awful, barely allowed play throughout the 90 minutes, whistling just about anything, especially on the delicate Portugese. Still all in all, Bosnia's performance yesterday didn't warrant a different outcome.

But what the heck was with that pitch? If you ask me, that shit was unplayable, especially for a game like this.

The least Fifa must do is to ban henry for 5-6 games so he'll miss playing in the world cup. They can't change last night result but atleast let the guy pay for he's wrong doing......

Case closed... good nite Fred.

I can live with that.

Then why are you bringing Nedved cheating in here? This is so much bigger, its a place for WC, who knows, what if France go on and win the whole thing, then what?

Seriously, Henry must be banned.

Has he already been interviewed?

Surely, sky sports and irish media will attack him with questions about that handball.
He does deserve to get banned, but i hope not.

Goodnight Fred, congrats on your team making the WC
Thanks mate.

Ok, I had no idea where Fred was from but I assumed Juve o'curr was attacking Fred for supporting a country he didn't live in. You can never tell around here with all the hating going on of anybody who likes Italy.

Whatever

Well i do primarily support my country of course. But we're so shit we barely ever get anywhere. :depressed:

:agrre: I think if we took the lead than ref would harm us. In Portugal they didn't whiste clear 2m offside, but fortunately Pepe missed that clear chance.

And about the pitch I'm not sure, I mean ofcourse we have bad pitches but it also could be that we ruined it on purpose :D

Even though France qualified, I can't believe they will go very far with Domenech. It was mind boggling to see how poor such a great selection of
players performed.

Yup, you guys can rest assured that France will be out from the group stages, unless they are extremely lucky with the draw. If they get a decent or a strong group, they are out.

The kind of funny thing is that both France and Italy looked like shit coming into the 2006 world cup while Spain, England, and Brazil looked very strong. Recent World cup history has shown that the traditional giants who come into the World Cup as underdogs tend to do pretty well while at least some of the favorites crash out early

I wouldn't put it past Italy to do something in this WC, but with Domenech at the helm, i very much doubt France stand a chance.

Terrible coach.
