We could easily have been behind before the goal. Thankfully their forvets were cack.
We had chances in the first but played poorly in the second. The late equalizer for Sturm was deserved and then the team rallied and got a set piece goal from Amauri.

We were lucky to get the win because their attack was poor and couldn't finish, a draw would have been "fair".
Cheers guys.

Just saw 2 minute highlights and I'm sort of put off downloading a full match.

lol it was a joke after your comment about me assuming you had camels.

Anyway I've spent the last couple days thinking you were that guy from Lithuania and had changed your username. Don't know why.
 I know man
Where in the world is Lithuania!
And where abouts the states are you from?

The change won't come in just two mathces. This is the same Juve from the last 3 years that just can't score goals. Anyway if you forget for a second that we were playing Sturm Graz the result's not so bad... i really hope Krasic will be like Nedved, we lack that kind of player on the wings.

Except you guys were playing your top team.
:D

Yeah, we were crap, so what? You guys were playing Trabzonspor... at Anfield, I believe?

How much better do you think that Gerrard, Torres, Skrtel, Agger, Kuyt and possibly Mascherano are going to make your team (Am I missing anyone else)? Oh, and now I see that Torres actually played in the second half? Pathetic!

Kidding, kidding. I think your team is going to do better than most pundits seem to be anticipating, buddy. I really like Hodgson too, he's a classy guy.

Of course, securing some solid ownership wouldn't hurt...

Tried explaining that part to some people here, don't bother.

It was an awful annoying evening, between the commentator butchering our players names to the team butchering the opportunity to advance in this cup tournament

What has changed from last season ??? The only change is that our coaches name is Ferrara or Zaccheroni but it is now Del Neri. Besides that, I felt like I was watching a replay from last years chaotic season.

The offense couldnt get anything going, the defense collapsed when pressed, and the midfield was overrun (I'm sick of the "Italian" excuse "they are farther ahead in their training and fitness levels than we are"). What really gave the feel of last season is that we needed goals from a defender, and a set piece...deja vu, boys and girls.

Storari- he's not Gigi, but did what he could

De Ceglie- should be sitting on the bench at Foggia, this kid isnt up to Serie A standards. Constantly beaten

Chellini- must have been feeling deja vu as well, being the best defender in a weak line

Bonucci- scored a goal, but the jury is still out on his ability

Motta- a defeinite step up from Grygera, but is that saying much ??

Lanzafame- anonymous....invisible

Momo- same as last season, can win a ball, then gives it away

Marchisio- sorry guys, I'm just not sold on him......has some talent, but may never be an impact player

Pepe- the energizer bunny with zero skill

Diego- I didnt think he played all that well, but he wasnt getting much service from the midfield...had to track back to get involved, just like last season

Amauri- overall, his game was average...didnt get too much help from the midfield (surprise, surprise !!), couldnt convert on his few chances until the end of the game

subs:

Melo- nothing really stood out...he didnt score an own goal or get a red card
:p

DP- put the cross into the box that Amoooori (lol) scored on...had a few free kicks that werent too shabby, albeit none went it

Del Neri- someone tell me why he's better than Zac ??? This team looked the same as last season, and slightly better teams would have won this game. Hopefully Krasic and Aquilani can bring this team to another level, but with this clown coaching, dont expect any trophies this season
