    :agree:

Going to be a tricky match tactically.

We need a goal but cannot push forward too much because they are excellent on the break.
I see us having a 1-0 lead, defend it and then get scored on in the last minutes on a defensive error.

Yea we can win at home with the scoreline of 3-2 and still lose. This team's mentality in certain games is pathetic. Conte decides to drop off and give them space, and as soon as it happens, they score.

How do you justify that Zach?
I see they scored their first 2 chances. We played a good game, got an away goal, and basically have to win at home and be done.

    We will do that.

You're a joke. I don't take you seriously now because you're as irrelevant as a fly. All of a sudden the Dutch are experts in football.
Experts is far fetched, but these two are about the best they got to offer. ANd their analysis was pretty good.

So annoying it didn't finish 1-1 or 2-2 as that would have given us a bit of a cushion. Having said that the one thing we can say about these players is that they can perform under pressure. We're going to need a perfect performance next week but this tie is still pretty even because of our away goal

No Wingers, no playmaking CAM. Result? Pointless, optimistic 1-2's upfront that sometimes go about 8 games without working

Licht was fantastic in the 2nd half, he will be key if we're to progress to the final imo

Bonucci won't go anywhere. Only an Italian team would be dumb enough to sign him and he'd obviously refuse to leave.

The best that could happen is him being a backup in a 4men defense.

I just don't understand why we stopped shooting. Pogba stopped shooting. The way Lima scored was what we truly missed. Hopefully it will be easy to recover at home next Thursday.

In any other conditions I would have said that this loss is a good result, one goal down, an away goal, we played better in an away game, etc. but I don't see us not concede at home so this away goal is not really of that importance with this team. What needs to be done is to keep storming them and never go to sleep like we did in the second half ahead of their goal. Will we do that? We have never ever done it so ...

I really annoys me how we did not even try in the first half, we went one goal down but we had no idea what to do. We kept to our plan of playing long balls to Tevez and Vucinic who was almost asleep were it not for the crowd noise. The first half saw a clumsy Asamoah, an inefficient Lichtsteiner, a nonchalat Pirlo, a wasteful Pogba, an invisible Marchisio and a selfish Tevez.

The sad situation is equalizing and seeing Benfica in shock and still bring in the most useless forward ever and sit back only to concede. This is what I call pussy football.

I still think we have a chance to go to the final but we have to really play a game like no other. The tricky part is if we lose to Sassuolo and put our energy on the return match we will be really risking the league lead ahead of the Roma game. I said it before many times but this team really enjoys putting itself in difficult situations.

    Buffon 6

    Caceres 6
    Bonucci 4
    Chiellini 6.5

    Lichtsteiner 6
    Pogba 6.5
    Pirlo 6.5
    Marchsio 6.5
    Asamoah 6.5

    Tevez 7
    Vucinic 3

    Giovinco 6
    Osvaldo 4.5

We must take control of the return game right from the start and patiently seek the goal.

And for fuck sake just take those corners like every other team does. We have some tall players like Pogba, Chiello, Llorente...
