This is what Scholes had to say before the game

"You're playing Villarreal here. You're playing a team that finished seventh in a really poor La Liga. Think of Real Madrid and Barcelona, how bad have they been? Manchester United should win this game comfortably."
His Man Utd, yes. Man Utd now can look brilliant or awful depending on whether tje opposition let them play. Villarreal didn't so they went back to being shit.

You get the feeling that OGS has one gear as a coach and that's it.

I think it's a fair assessment, there was no reason for them to lose that game.
Villareal are not Reggina Calcio, they're a good team with a great goalscorer in Moreno. He overestimated his team, better be humble about your opponent because especially in a final anything can happen and the underdog can win.

They wish they hailed from the glorious town of Reggio Calabria. Home of ‘nduja and the ‘Ndrangheta.

What is the 'N short for in those words?
The apostrophe shows the removal of a letter before the 'n'. In the case of 'nduja it will certainly have been an 'a', as 'nduja derives from "andouille" (type of sausage) and the House of Anjou, which the southern part of Italy was part of at the time of conception. For 'Ndrangheta it is also an 'a' that is removed, as it derives from the Greek word "andragathía".

Basically the sound has changed from "an" to more of a soft and protracted "un".
