Genk had a decent run in the CL last season no? They're an OK team, and Sassuolo are forgiven for losing an away tie in Europe. It's their first ever run in European competition and they are a tiny club punching well above their weight in many respects.
Inter getting their asses handed to them by Israeli and Czech teams tho :: Absolutely disgraceful in Europe. Hope these fucks don't come anywhere close to the CL anymore.
If he can make himself useful for the team then whats wrong with that? Better than Iturbe and the other guys they have.
Buffon is not exactly young either but we need him.
Roma need a few signings but their biggest problem is mental.
I'm sure he will return to a top team again eventually, and then he'll meltdown again as soon as the spotlight and pressure arrive. He doesn't have the mentality for it. But someone will take a chance on him if he keeps up this form.
Totti was great, but so are many players against teams no one has ever heard of. It's impressive because he's 40, but it's certainly not going to help Roma against top competition.

Sassuolo were missing Domenico Berardi, Alfred Duncan, Paolo Cannavaro, Alessandro Matri, Alessandro Gazzola, Luca Antei and Simone Missiroli. Not a suprise they'd lose an away game.
There's a lot that's very good about Sassuolo, and TBH if more small/medium sized Italian teams followed their lead in terms of player recruitment, coaching, and general medium-long term planning, maybe there'd be hope for Serie A to improve as a whole.
