Albania's chances to qualify are still very slim, or am I wrong? :confused:

They rely on bunch of improbable results in the following days. What sucks the most for them is that Italy don't need pts against Ireland and they might easily let the Irish win. But if Italy won't lose to Ireland (and Sweden doesn't beat Belgium in the same group), then the Albanians stand some chances. Then all they'll need is one of these: Czech Republic not to beat Turkey, Hungary to beat Portugal, Germany to beat Northern Ireland by 4, England to beat Slovakia by 3 and Wales not to lose vs Russia (England and Wales come in pair).

Possible, but not very probable. I give the Albanians 15-20% chance to qualify.

Congrats in any case. This is a historic result for the Albanian team sports.

I'm proud of the team, all three games they played very well and are leaving the tournament as winners if they don't make it to the next round.

You're right, but your percentages are too low. Going by the bookmakers, Italy will manage to get a win or a draw around 67% of the times, Belgium will get a win or a draw 80% of the times and Turkey will get a win or a draw 60% of the times. The odds of those three results all going Albania's way is around 33% (0,67*0,80*0,60). And that's just the most likely scenario. Adding the unlikely ones, I guess we're closer to 40% (I'm too lazy to do the math though). Still tough though. :D

Just a case of sour Russian grapes. His team is bad so he doesn't cheer for them because he thinks cheering for weak teams is a bad thing.
