I see UEFA and England are saving football.
Glad I missed this train wreck.

Now all UEFA needs to do is send Cakir in a special mission this Sunday.

Italy lost some height with Emerson instead of Spinazzola so England might be a threat on set pieces. Maguire in particular looking menacing from set-pieces. I feel Donnarumma needs to be alert and help out with punches and catching to make up.

This sport is such a joke. Got disenfranchised with it for a reason, before getting excited by that Italy team and allowing myself to have hope for something good to happen. But why would something good ever happen? The saviours of football will make sure it won't.

Yeah I noticed that during the game as the pen was being awarded.
Unbelievable to not stop play with the second ball there although in all honesty it didn’t seem to distract any of the players
That angle wasn’t showing that Sterling then ran within a couple metres of the second ball as shown by @s4tch post. Doesn’t matter if players were distracted. This wasn’t some ball at the other end of the pitch. It was within a couple metres lol. Unbelievable to let play continue there.

The second ball, the fact that sterling wasn't touched and went down and it was still given after the VAR review...shit happens.. it is wrong and by all means having England face italy at wembley in a final is a footballers wet dream no doubt.

Will be an interesting game...England have everything to lose being at wembley. The pressure is on them more so than on italy.

I think Mancini (or someone from the Italian camp) should create pressure on the officials before the game by saying they hope for a fair game despite it being at Wembley and they weren't encouraged after seeing certain incidents in the semi final.
