It’s funny though, because before this tournament he was 11/12 on penalties.

Now he has missed two in a row lol
Really? I'm surprised by that. But I wonder how many of those were pressure penalties. Obviously none will be like what he faced tonight.

Still fucking laughing at Bernardeschi firing in one of the best penalties you'll see. For someone with his striking technique he really is a shit player. And Bonucci just stepping up to roll one in. Simon wanted to dive to the right on everything.

Italy's worst game of the tournament so far. We made so many unforced errors. I expected Spain to have most of the ball but we should have threatened their goal more on our counters.

Still happy we got the result in the end. Biggest surprise of the match was that Bernardeschi scored his penalty and did it well.

Lineker: Who does England prefer to play, Italy or Spain?
Ferdinand: It doesn't matter, England does both of them.
:rolleyes2:
Rio Ferdinand has the IQ of a hamster. He said he wasn't going to get carried away and then he made a complete tit of himself on tv. But he doesn't care because idiots are immune to it.

England have played one good team so far. We'll see in any potential final how they react to a bit of adversity, anyone can look good sailing through an easy group and one of the easiest routes to a final (in their home stadium) that you'll ever see. But that win over a mediocre Germany definitely sent them into unknown territory in terms of optimism.

I'm also pretty sure Italy have a very good record against England. I just looked - Italy have won every tournament/important game between the two going back to 1980.

But let's not count out Denmark. Like I said, if they can take the lead against England, who have clear weaknesses at the back, then it changes the psychology and the invincible aura can quickly disappear. Right now they're flying on adrenaline, but so are Italy, and so are Denmark.
