The best, I believe.

18 goals and 9 assists (27 G+A) from Serie A players for now. Bundesliga is second with 21 G+A (14+7), EPL is third with 18 (8+10). La Liga with barely 3 G+A (1+2) and Ligue 1 with 1 goal and 0 assists.

And the team with the most goals+assist so far is Juventus Without counting the 2 own goals, of course. Juventus players have 5 goals and 1 assist for now. They mostly come from Ronaldo, but also Ramsey and Morata with a goal. Then follow Atalanta with 5 (2+3) and Inter 5 (4+1), while Dortmund 4 (3+1), Leipzig 4 (2+2), Liverpool 4 (2+2) and City 4 (2+2) are right behind.

Belgium (or potentially Portugal?) is indeed a strong opponent to get for 1/4, but regarding semis you can't know which bracket will have France in it, so there's no point guessing. If ze Germans win group of death, Id still say it's better to face them than France in semis.

I guess so. Though, the opponents might be weaker in that half of the draw.
Italy will avoid not just Belgium, but also the winner of group F (France? Germany?), probably the third placed in F (France or Portugal), and if England and Spain don't win their groups, which could easily happen, Italy will avoid them too until the final.

It was similar in 2018 at the WC when the second half of the draw was much weaker than the other half and Croatia made it to the final.
