Osman called it. The midfield was fine. It was when Germany doubled up on the wings where Portugal had no answer.
It was never fine, it was always a possibility for Germany to do that which is why it was dumb to assume those two clowns could hold that midfield. Another words in no scenario could those two hold that midfield in a 4231.

Even though the technical quality of Benz and Rabiot is much higher, France looked a lot more fluid and balanced with Matuidi and Giroud in 2018. Wonder if DD will break up that front trio, they lack grinta atm

Muller to Gosens

“no wonder you only lasted 60 mins, you play in Serie A”

@DAiDEViL @lgorTudor

Thoughts about these comments from this punchable prick?
Not nice to use humor I know. Müller doesnt hit me as someone who doesn’t have respect for other leagues, in fact quite the opposite.

But even if we take the humor aside then I don’t think there’s any doubt the intensity and speed of the game is much slower in Serie A than in England, Germany and maybe Spain.

That doesn’t have to be bad but I know many of you said that this became a problem for you guys in Europe.

From all I know, it is easier for players that already played in Serie A when they go abroad to other league
I think De Paul will looks like world class and bossing Atletico midfield in La Liga, especially if they can get Dybala from us too

We can take Saul for Dybala + money / Berna too to improve our midfield rank
Saul and Locatelli as double pivot with Rabiot and Arthur as subs + Fagioli

dutch fans to de boer: "how smart you are, frank? keep malen!" (not sure how accurate the translation is, read it on a local site. please confirm @U Picciriddu, thanks)
It’s a bit hard to translate. First part you’re right, second part ‘blijf malen’ they probably mean something like ‘keep worrying/doubting’

Malen has multiple meanings and doubting or continuously thinking about something is one of them (the other meaning of malen is grinding).

So it’s a metaphor about the Malen/Weghorst discussion

“Are you that smart Frank? Keep thinking!”
