The draw for the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying round will take place in Warsaw on 7 February 2010. This will be the first time the new UEFA national team coefficient will be used for seeding the teams. The qualifying draw will determine the makeup of six groups of six teams and three groups of five teams. The first-placed teams from each group along with the best runner-up will qualify automatically and the remaining runners-up will take part in a two-match play-off to select the remaining four teams in the final tournament.

Euro 2012 qualifying seedings

Pot One: Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy, England, Croatia, Portugal, France, Russia.

Pot Two: Greece, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Turkey, Denmark, Slovakia, Romania.

Pot Three: Israel, Bulgaria, Finland, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Pot Four: Slovenia, Latvia, Hungary, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, Wales, FYR Macedonia, Cyprus.

Pot Five: Montenegro, Albania, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Iceland, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein.

Pot Six: Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Malta, Faroe Islands, Andorra, San Marino.

Croatia
Czech Republic
Ireland
Belarus
Liechtenstein
San Marino

I think we'd win that group.

Actually, it's closer to being in Europe than Azerbaijan or Kazakhstan, who are both in UEFA.

I'll take any group we get, doesn't matter. :p
    Similar here.

After the fiasco in the WC qualifiers, Croatia will give it all in these new qualifiers. The players are now in their best years, it's a team of big quality, and they'll, IMO, cruise in the qualifiers and win the group.

The only team I don't want in the group is Serbia. They are strong and there will be lots of pressure on both teams. I'd also like to avoid problems, fights and potential bans and suspensions.

This group will be fun, though:

    1. Croatia
    2. Serbia
    3. Bosnia and Herzegovina
    4. Slovenia/Macedonia
    5. Montenegro

(There will be 2-3 groups with only 5 teams. This will be one of them) :)

I bet all of them will be played in empty stadiums :D

But it couldn't be worse than that group when Armenia and Azerbaijan were in, they didn't play both home and away matches, and UEFA just pretended that both games are played :sergio:

    I know

We're all a joke. Croatia and Serbia are lucky to have good teams, because if we didn't, we were gonna be treated the same as Armenia and Azerbaijan.
