Worst thing about Italian strikers is that none of them can shoot the f*cking ball properly. Gilardino, Cassano, Inzaghi are awful if they have to shoot the ball from out of box, and French clearly knows this. Their defenders are backing off and inviting the Italian strikers to shoot, and since Italian's cant they are trying to create opening inside the box, which is very difficult to do.

Donadoni needs to Alex or Totti. It will give the team something different. I just feel Cassano and Gila do not complement each other too well.

Well,, Don clearly is trying to use the next generation footballers.... it seems he dont want to rely on Alex and the other guys. But it seems that the new ones doesnt do well together.. or at keast the coach dont know how to take the best of em.

This a coaching problem mainly,,,as Lippi had more or less the same players at disposal...and even in the worst situations Italy looked good.

what we are seeing today is kind of sad.. but something can still be done!.
