They play SOOO Well,and who saw them all the tournament know what i'm talking about!!!
vs Spain and Greece they played great as well!
They were never such agreat team in whole USSR history!
Simply deserved it!
And i'm not kidding,after Holland,they played the best football this EURO tournament!!!
Bad luck is,that they meet them in the 1/4's,but who knows one game...

It's fucking great, but then again all the Euros I have watched I've thoroughly enjoyed, so I'm biased.
The Turkey match the other day was spectacular, Holland has played amazing football, and even Austria provided us with some entertaining football. So in terms of competition and amazement, this tournament has been awesome.
Better than World Cup 2006? Not sure. Better than Euro 2004? Thus far, absolutely IMO. Better than World Cup 2002? I can't say that because of the USA going to the Quarters.

Just look at it this way...
The teams that have played the most negative football, Greece and Poland, are out of the tournament unlike in 2004 where the most negative team won. While the refereeing has been utterly poor, the football we have seen has been predominantly fantastic and stunning. Holland, Russia, Spain and Croatia all play good football.
Then we come to the Quarterfinals.
Portugal - Germany: Portugal plays good football as well while the Germans always do well in the latter stages. This is going to be a cracking match where you simply can't pick a favorite between the two.
Croatia - Turkey: Two sides that have surprised millions around the world and two sides that have passionate support and good football. The Croats have stepped up their game and now look like a formidable side to face, while Turkey NEVER gives up and has a lot of talent to boot. Two sides that are considered underdogs in the tournament with a chance to reach the Semis. Another amazing match ahead of us.
Holland - Russia: Two sides that play amazing football and have great support. With Hiddink facing his own nation on Saturday, this is going to a fucking spectacular match.
Italy - Spain: While Italy hasn't been good, they still pose a real threat to the Spaniards. Another stunning match.
Out of those teams, the only country that plays anything close to negative football is Italy, but it's only because they have played poorly thus far. But they'll still pose Spain quite a threat and they still have a chance to win the whole tournament.
All the matches left are going to be great I believe. And with positive football winning out thus far, I have to say this is an awesome tournament, surely better than 2000 and 2004 IMO.
