They were obviously in serious disagreement about something against Holland. Add the rumors about Italy's lack of Canna captaincy being a problem, and you wonder.

Not that I really like talking about these locker room conspiracy theories. But I just don't get a very good vibe between those two players on the pitch.
yeh it could be a problem two big players in the squad, but now they will have to forget all these differences and beat france.

Everybody blames Toni for the loss of points yet he was the only person close to scoring.

Gotta love spastic fans.
Everybody blames Toni because he had wasted a lot of chances..starting falling down when he could have probably done better staying up.But wait..you want to hate Zambrotta.Go ahead.

And perhaps you wouldnt change sides every 24 hours no?You apparently wanted Italy and Holland to win today, yet you seem to enjoy Italy not winning. Here's where i use your favourite word : Hypocrite.

Azzurri fans must cheer for France tonight because if the Dutch win it will 99.99% be game over for Italy

It's funny how people call Italians "Cheaters" when It comes to football and forget how Refs are being biased each time Italians step into the field.

    Fucking pathetic.

I thought we created LOTS but weren't able to finish because the final ball was just too far or not quite right. At the end Pirlo was guilty of this a LOT. I think Cassano should start next match, he played fantastically this game, as did Chiellini. Zambrotta worked hard but obviously lost focus on Mutu's goal.

So what's the current status for Italy, in terms of, what results do we need to go through?

    Currently:
    Holand 3
    Romania 2
    Italy 1
    France 1

(with Holland and France to play tonight).
So ideally, we would want France to lose or draw tonight. Then we would want Romania to lose or draw against Holland in the final round of matches, while we beat France.

    Is that right?

In case Holland beats France tonight then the standings will look like this :

    1. Holland 6
    2. Romania 2
    3. France 1
    4. Italy 1

In the last round Holland (with secured 1st place) will play against Romania and they can let them win.
    France going to beat Holland

    1- France 4
    2- Holland 3
    3- Romania 2
    4- Italy 1

and France to beat Italy, with Holland to beat Romania at last round.

    1- France 7
    2- Holland 6
    3- Romania 2
    4- Italy 1

and my prediction comes true, when I voted for France and Holland. and Italy to finish 4th. :)

Hence why I'm hoping for a draw.

    Holland 4
    France 2
    Romania 2
    Italy 1

Would mean that Holland still need a result against Romania. If they get that result and Italy beat France they're through.

The bias has always been against Italians, so you kind of have to be ready for that. But the Pannucci penalty was in no way a good call. On the positive side of things, Grosso and Buffon looked superhuman today. No one could stop Grosso and Buffon was his usual level of greatness.

The refs did make two bad calls today with Toni's disallowed goal and with the soft penalty.
But it was hillarious how the Italians started diving at the end hoping to get a penalty and it was even more funny how they asked for a goal when Lobont caught the ball at the goal line.
    Noticed that :D

Btw. did anyone noticed how often players are misjudging ball's direction, especially when the ball is bouncig?

If France win today..the last day will see the standings like this :

    1.France 4pts
    2.Holland 3pts
    3.Romania 2pts
    4.Italy 1pts

So if Italy beat France on the last day..and then Romania draw or lose against Holland..who goes through?Italy or France?I still dont get this stuff.Conflicting reports all over.

one thing i have noticed is since the world cup there seems to be a shift to being harsh on italy, certainly we dont help the problems but referees are coming down hard on italy. i bet its that sour prick Blatter.
