Exactly what I thought.
Did you see what that goal was? It was Trezeguet vs Real Madrid, from DP's assist :touched: :star:

Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery. :star:
for some reason though it reminded me more of holland's france 98 goal. de boer to bergkamp

& my word.....our 2 CBs are tactically unaware & were caught star gazing when the pass went over their head for the 2nd goal. NO ONE went to cover (if they even knew was ther in the first place) sneijder when zambrotta went to try to get to kuyt. We need DP, cassano & 1 of aquilani or de rossi for di natale, camo and ambrosini/gattuso (take ur pick) to swing the game back.

Btw, Materazzi's bitching cost Italy the first goal. Buffon tried to clear the ball and hit Materazzi, and he started his usual diving and bitching. What a retard.

I like Holland, but they usually choke in the end. Expect no different now. 1988 is the only time they didn't choke, but they had players like guillet, rijkaard and van basten, so how can you fail?

Anyway..

Italy will continue their tradition of doing well in the WC and then sucking cock in the Euros that follow.

Romania and Holland to progress, and the two world cup finalists to crash out.Irony.

No.The ref cost Italy the first goal.
True, but it's not like they didn't put themselves into a bad position by playing poorly in the first place. It could easily be 3 or 4 nil, so the Italians should be thankful they are still theoretically in the match.
