A Polish guy makes the assist, a Polish guy scores the goal and yet it's Germany that took the lead against Poland.

I think it was offside, though.

This Germany side is actually pretty sick. Great along the flanks, great in the middle. Only question mark is the center of the defense which, in my view, is also pretty strong.

They do look really good but I feel a quick skillful striker could give Metzelder and Mertesacker a lot of problems.

Best match of the tournament so far.

Yeah, a quick strike pair would give them problems. Although they didn't have many problems two years ago with the backline.

Fritz has really impressed me so far.
He's one fast motherfucker, that's for sure.

I would ban anyone who suggests replacing Trezeguet by Gomez from now on.
The good news is that Gomez is on Galliani's list of potential Milan strikers.
Eto'o, Drogba, Berbatov, Adebayor or Gomez.
It will be sexy if they splash +20m euro and buy Gomez.

And another point: How much German blood does Gomez have?
Little more than Podolski, Klose and Trochkowski (all of them Polish playing for Germany at the EURO), and little less than Kuranyi.

    wikipedia said:
Kevin Dennis Kurányi (born March 2, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro)
He was born to a German-Hungarian father and a Panamanian mother

Edit: Actually, he has more German blood that Kuranyi. Gomez has Spanish father and German mother.
