No I know an Italian ref can't officiate if an Italian team is playing but for some reason I wasn't sure whether he was familiar because of Serie A or the Pavel's yellow. Imma look for that referee, forgot what he looks like.

Well the swiss had two chances after the first claim pity they hit the post. Not that it matters to me who wins this game.

I thought Cech looked a bit shaky.

Switzerland were definitely unlucky. They deserved a point at the very least.

Grygera played well by the way and I fell asleep the last fifteen minutes of the first half. How did Frei get injured?

Frei got injured by a challenge of Grygera.Not Zdenek's fault though.I feel sorry for both Frei and Switzerland,he's a quality player.

Two players impressed me so far : Deco and Bosingwa.
Deco for commanding the midfield, for being everywhere on the pitch and for his passes and crosses. Bosingwa also played a perfect first half.

I like the spirit the Turkish players are showing. Terim's influence is obvious.
