well since this thread is not very important to juve i thought me as a juve fan might start it with my other passion in football (teams from my country)
i know Partizani (albanian team in Uefa Cup) are rivals to my fav Albanian team but they are still Albanians :touched:

Partizani pack a punch
Thursday, 15 July 2004

Albanian Cup holders FK Partizani took a two-goal advantage after a high-scoring UEFA Cup first qualifying round first leg against Maltese side Birkirkara FC.

Albania's cup holders picked up a victory

Bulku scores
Partizani went close on 14 minutes when Brazilian defender Marcelo Brachini hit the crossbar with visiting goalkeeper Justin Haber beaten. However, nine minutes later Sokol Bulku did give the Tirana side the lead.

Further goals
In the 27th minute, it was 2-0 when Haber brought down Dorian Bylykbashi in the area, and the same player stepped up to beat the goalkeeper. However, Birkirkaka did pull one back eight minutes from the break when Brachini put through his own goal.

Alcani alert
The home side restored their two-goal cushion early in the second half when Alert Alcani headed in after a corner, and went further ahead on 69 minutes when Alcani found Skerdi Pejzate, who made no mistake. But Birkirkara gave themselves hope for the second leg on 29 July with another away goal when Maltese international striker George Mallia scored eight minutes before the end.

Well to be honest I couldn't give a damn about the UEFA Cup until it reaches the latter stages of the tournament, at which point the matches get very exciting (anyone else notice how UEFA Cup finals tend to be better than CL finals? :D)

but good luck to your sides anyway Bessy :thumb:

only 2 years ago they were never able to pass the first round.

    edit - forget it

    Dinamo lost 4-0

Either I had too much beer, or livescore.com is crazy!

It shosed Shamkir TSU 2-1 FT. Then, 20 minutes ago it showed 1-1. And just now it became TSU 4 - Shamkir 1 !!!!! What the hell!

    isnt that something.

the team that just beat 4-0 and 4-1 Dinamo (the albanian team) is facing Partizani (the other albanian) team in the second round

    go for revenge partizani. :)

is dinamo that bad? i mean losing 4-0 and 4-1 is very bad.

well i think they got rid of Redi Jupi who gave them the win in the league 2 years ago.

arif i live 5000 miles away how am i supposed to know but i am hoping that dinamo really sucked so that partizani has a chance. :D
