does anyone else feels that this u21 plays a better football,at least less boring than the Azzurri, and im not even being biased..the young defense, the midfield,i see them as a better side,i think they could beat the current azzurri side in a friendly match..
oh,and criscito really should come back, him and bocchetti has been very strong at the back..

Haha I love it. One of the swedish commentators told two of the swedish players to go and get Giovinco's shirt after the game so they could give it to him!

Good thing that Gio is getting popular in Sweden. We lost many Swedes when Zlatan went to Inter.
Scandinavians, Juve needs your money. :D

I don't know of any other team (club or country) that makes such a habit of winning games despite having a player sent off in the first half as Italy does.

" Horrible to see the italians dive during the entire game. I can't understand how the refs get fooled so easily. Free kick in every single duel. Thank god for the Premier League "

 One of the reasons i don't watch the premier league anymore.........

In Italy 99% of the talks are about Balotelli's goal. Almost nothing on Gio.

At least the English commentators I was listening to were praising Gio all game.

Same here in Sweden praising Giovinco.

But this game was pretty straight forward, the quality attacking trio deciding the game in 2 instances, and the rest of the game being a VERY professional display of completely controlling your opponent more or less except that 1 goal.

P.S Only negative, subbing out Freshwater for Rannocchia...

Hehe Jesper Hussfelt is a huge Gio fanboy, he told Bjärsmyr to exchange shirt with Gio :D

He was going on nonstop about Gio in first game, even the most minor thing, and this game said "you see what I meant last game? I wasnt exaggerating, showing his class today" (People who hadnt seen Gio before thought he was overhyping in last game, due to bigging him up his big talent despite Italy not doing anything).

Yeah, and check Olof Lundh's blog on fotbollskanalen, I think he is becoming a Gio fanboy too.

Why? Sweden was making loads of crosses from both bands.
The defenders and midfielders allready took care of that, without someone up, it made it way easier for them and harder for Italy to keep the ball atleast for a little while. It was quite unnecessary move IMO. Having no one up.
