At least Torino go down swinging and play a very good match against a tough opponent, they lose the tie but win on the night (helping the coefficient)...Inter being embarrassed at home with Lord Bendtner scoring against them

if only they scored that goal a bit sooner. Zenit was totally crumbeling when they were pressed hard. They got very lucky how the balls kept somehow dropping off wrong (for torino) in the box. They would have conceded again

Noooo... What Juventus did yesterday is what an Italian side should do in Europe. :D
You can't expect to a Torino side with Amauri and Molinaro to rout Zenit tough, can you :D

They played up to and beyond their squad's potential, if every team did that, Italy probably wouldn't have to make due with 3 CL spots.

Well, Torino took up the glove against a much higher reputed and financed team, and went for it untill the end.

Thats what an Italian suptopper should do in Europe :D
What is a suptopper?

I suppose I expected too much. A team with Quags in it cannot be expected to perform all that well in the knockout rounds. :p
