I didn't suggest Italy was weak, far from that, what I said is that Portuguese teams are stronger and stronger with the time, prove is that we're catching up Italy in the UEFA ranking.

i guarantee you that would not be the case if the league hadn't gone through calciopoli and like wise when the europa league points became as valuable as the champions league coeff points.

I don't believe for a moment that the portugese sides are by any means superior or catching up to the standards of the Italians. This means no disrespect to you or any other portugese side, especially as i do think benfica are a team to be taken seriously, but i think you are over hyping your own league
