I havent seen Lyon for the season... but I personally believe once that we have the right attitude and play our first team we beat any team in this tournament and leave the Cup in Turin.

Lyon are 8 pts behind the 3rd placed Lille in France. This weekend Lille plays away to Monaco, so if Lyon manage to get the difference to 5 pts, they will stand a chance for a CL place, with 8 rounds to go.

This year against the better teams:
Lyon-Lille 0:0
Lyon-Monaco 2-3
PSG-Lyon 4:0
Lille-Lyon 0:0
Monaco-Lyon 2:1

In EL, they won their group against Betis, Rijeka and Guimaraes with a 3-3-0 record. In the first knock-out round they eliminated the Ukrainian team Chernomorets 1:0 on aggregate, and in the 1/8 finals they beat the Czechs Plzen 5:3 on aggregate. Yesterday's defeat was their first in Europe this year, but that surely has a lot to do with the fact that they had a 4:1 advantage from the first leg.

Overall, it's good that Lyon aren't a team we can underestimate, so I expect a serious approach to these two games.

We've got Napoli just before we face Lyon.Knowing Conte,we will play our first team at the San Paolo. What i'm afraid of is that we reach lyon tired, and then in typical Juve Europe fashion, concede 1 or worse 2 without reply. That would leave us with plenty to do in the 2nd leg.
However,I am confident that we will progress in the competition(fairly).Fino alla Forza Juventus:bigscarf:

will Osvaldo like the women in your city?
Yes.

Team formation.
Lyon has a very dynamic formation, almost no formation is similiar to the previous. 4-1-2-1-2 & 5-3-2 are the most frequent. We also have a more central gamestyle than before where we could rely on the wingers. The biggest weakness in our formation is definitely the sides. Lichtsteiner, Isla, Asamoah, Padoin or Peruzo will probably be the biggest threats.

Lyon are up and down the last few years, regarding stability, but they are no fighter. They have a young team. Streamrolling them would be possible in JS imo.
