You're right probably.

But what you said makes no sense. Just because we gave a trouble to Real doesn't mean we're bound to beat every other team out there.

And Real werent even in top gear back then like they are now. They were playing some awful football and grinding out results in the league much like what we were doing at the time.

of course you can-t win every match if you don-t care about it and throw in all the reserves who can-t score a goal from 1m like Peluso did last night, our luck was that trabz didn-t play anything. To win this EL you need the first team entirely in good form, that-s all

yes Cusp , Real hadn-t the trio BBC fully functional against us and we played very good but the scoreline was balanced for years between Juve and them

We played good ofcourse but lets not forget they 'almost' beat us too if Benzema hadnt missed those sitters. So this 'almost beat Real' phrase means nothing here.It was an even game in the end with us having more the control of the game particularly in the first half.

and you wonder why that happened, because we took the foot off the gas and let them create something, and ronaldo did his job and panicked all the defense. about benzema i know that is very pragmatic player 2 days ago he scored 2 from 4 chances, impressive player

At this level every detail, every small particularities means a lot and that draw with Copenhagen , even the result on that impossible field from Turkey put us where we belong I suppose this season, in EL where we have big chances to reach the final.

The Celtic Delusion
I'm pretty sure Aberdeen are currently the best team in the world since we've beaten Celtic twice in the last few weeks.

Napoli are playing horrible football at the moment.

That Henrique chap looks amusingly bad.

Napoli and us are on different sides of the table, we could meet in the final. However, I think Napoli will lose to Porto.

I think we'll beat Fiorentina this time, they have no Rossi to bail them out.

I think Napoli will squeeze there way through this round. It'll be tough, Porto is a strong squad, but I have a feeling Napoli will do it.

I really want us to win this tournament. It'll be good for us. Exposure for Juventus, coefficients for the league, and 7M winnings IIRC. May not be relatively a lot, but money is money. I hope we do it.

Fiorentina game gonna be tough, will really hate it if those rats beat us in Europa.

We will never hear the end of it for a looong time.
They've already played their bonus on 20th October, and that was a big bonus. And knowing our guys, they'll still be very angry for that. Honestly I think this is one of the best drawings we could get there. After Trabzonspor, getting another unknown abroad team (like AZ or Ludogoretz) could have contributed to be less focused in this slow competition, and for sure we'd have had too much complacency after the match in Turkey. In this way that won't happen and we'll be hungry for "revenge" of that match. It's not like they had the best on us, that was just a ridiculous match. They didn't see the ball for 70 mins and then they had 4 shots and 4 goals, with a generous penalty and a Buffon gift on the 2nd. I'm looking forward to these matches really, considering there is also another match against Viola in the league on the 9th, IIRC.

There will be another drawing for the quarter finals, and then another one for the semis. Actually there are not other sides of the table. ;)
