Somehow the variety in the EL reminds me of the old cups in Europe. The CL has the same teams every year and the crowd from each of the big leagues makes it lose a bit of its charm. It's only a monster tournament with monster ads and monster money.

the cl had kinda the same teams before they changed it to this new format. It wasn't so boring as now i'll give you that but juve ain't there and that's why the feeling.. But EL it's the perfect combination between uefa cup and the cup's cup. I remember how i felt before the last game with bayern..geez i waited that game for a week..

For me, it's about the quality of football and there's no doubt in my mind that the C.L is quite a few levels above the EL in that respect. The more money, the better.

The CL before they changed it never had four teams from England, four teams from Spain, four teams from Italy, three teams from Germany, three teams from France. I am talking about the original CL, the one that was about football not about money. The one that was before you were born. The one that was when Barcelona were known to be the biggest chokers to walk on earth.
