What a pathetic match this was. Fuck Napoli if they show up against us, like they always do.
I blame the coach really, they played too deep with this crap 3 man defence, easy for Liverpool to soak most of it up. Dossena fucked up any attacking threat they had as well.

Starting line up: G. Curci, F. Cacciatore, M. Volta, D. Gastaldello, R. Ziegler, Poli, D. Dessena, Koman, G. Marilungo, N. Pozzi, A. Cassano

Should have enough to beat them, seriously.
Quite a few changes, I have no idea how good the Ukrainians are but they're still the home side. In the circumstances though pretty bad.

I wonder how far down the coefficient ranking Italy will have to fall before they sort the attitude problem they have with the Europa League?

Right down close to France I reckon. It doesn't even make sense on a technical level, of course Serie A is not super strong these days but some of the teams they are losing or drawing to is laughable, there is a real mental problem.

Fred, you know that some folks will only respond by saying Italian teams just don't care about the Europa. That's the excuse that will be used constantly, even despite Palermo fielding close to a first choice side.

There's no defending it anymore. Serie A is just weak.

There is no doubt the lega calcio is now weaker.

But in fact, there is a reason behind the poor performance of the Italian teams in Europe(not the main one but it also affects their results),and that is they are always drawn in such difficult groups.

Just have a look at Arsenal & Chelsea groups in CL,they are incomparable to the groups of Milan n Roma, take also a look at how week Barca's group is.The Italians in the last few years are always fucked up by being drawn in the strongest groups. In the last 5 yrs you will always find an Italian team in the groups of death. Both in CL as well as EL.

Roma losing to United over the years is justifiable. But Cluj and now Basil.. that is worrying.

Juve drawing with teams like Lech and Salzburg is worrying.

Napoli barely saving a draw from the weakest pool in history is worrying.

Sampdoria getting raped from a team called Metalist is worrying.

Palermo raped by CSKA
Serie A teams are dying in Europe, apart from Inter.

EPL is going down too.... 2 of the top four are falling.

Barca are not their usual selves but Madrid are very scary.

When inter becomes the pride of Italian football then something is definitely wrong.

why would that be something wrong, when real madrid is the pride of of spanish football by having huge amounts of foreigners in their squad.

the same goes to chelsea ... they can't be the english pride neither
