That's the key part, we are ten years behind the war and still nationalism here is probably even worse than before. I really don't know when it's gonna stop. For me as an atheist and with Serb/Croatian name who grew up here, and been on front line in Sarajevo during war is pretty difficult. People are seeing me different, and even noone will admit that but it's obvius, I actually had problem finding girls because of my name (fortunately I'm happily in love now) etc. I'm actually having thoughts of moving out, but let's not go offtopic.
Btw we were punished before for monkey chants when our NT played (can't remember against who), all I remember that someone from FA tried to explain that as our ancient way of praying or something like that (can't remember exactly and translate it right)

This has a very rich history behind it and as much as it is about the religion (and it indeed has a lot to do with religion) it's also about the ex-ruling Muslim class still not being able to get over the fact that it's been more than 130 years that the Turks are gone and they're not ruling the Christians.

Very nice, I'm having excellent relation with them, they like me and I like them. And I'm dating this girl for almost three years, so they know that we are serious about it (girlfriend and I).
Also it's not only about muslims, I have friend who (actually two), one of them wanted to date a girl but she refused because he is muslim, and other one is in relationship but they have huge problems because he is muslim, not serb.

Not surprising. One could understand the Muslim and Christian girls who are afraid of their parents, but I wish they could just show more courage.

No, honestly, I won't care at all if the girl they marry is religious and what religion she follows. I admit that at first I won't find it very pleasant if my grandchildren are black or Chinese, but with time I'll definitely get used to it and love them as much as I'd have loved them if they were white.
I can't say how I'd react if I have a daughter but I guess I won't find it pleasing if she's forced to convert to Islam or anything else in order to marry a guy. Still, if she accepts it I'll have no right to interfere.
It doesn't really matter as long as my sons don't marry a whore or my potential daughters don't marry some junkie or a criminal

Come on, it's the same for everyone. The grandfather will like it his grandchildren to look like him, which isn't very possible if he's white or Chinese while they're black.
In the end he'll accept the fact and love them as every grandparent loves his grandchildren, but in the order of preference, you'd normally like them to look like you.
Tell me honestly, if you have a grandson, would you like him to look more like you or to look, dunno, Norwegian?
