@JBF,

Anas Zboun scored a goal in the dying minutes against Kuwait in the 2004 Asian Cup, after the match in a live interview with a channel that i can't recall, they asked Anas what did you think of the match, he said that there are two men the Kuwaiti's will always remember; Saddam Hussein and Anas Zboun :D

Needless to say there was some outrage at what he said, and Kuwaiti FA demanded that he apologize :p
:lol: :lol:

I remember that match, Anas scored and Khalid sa3ed too. But well said Abu Zboon. Too bad he still plays for Hussein Irbid thought :p
You remember all this and can't remember the channel's name!! Give me a break :p
It was Al Jazeera as usual :D
I don't remember anything, i didn't even see it. I have better things to do in my life than watch the freakin Jordanian NT(no offense JBF:p), i have a lot of Jordanian friends that keep telling the story to whoever would listen though :p
Non taken, you Jordanian friends study in the AUS?

We've two students who used to be there (AUS) and currently studying in GJU here in Jordan. But they always have good words about their former uni.

Why does people still love that mother fucker saddam is beyond my understanding. The guy is nothing short of a bloody dictator who hated everyone including his own people. And people wonder why the middle-east is soo fucked up :andyandbarcelona:

You're completely right about him. IMO the US made him have the hero status he has right now, the trials made a lot of people change their mind about Saddam.

No, of course i'm not Ba3thi, I appreciate the original founders of the Baathist party for being the only ones in the last century to try and achieve pan arabism, but Saddam and Hafith El Assad both went completely against the Baathist ideology. They both used it as a front for their own political agenda's, as far as i'm concerned they are as far as possible from being real Baathists, those two.

If you are interested, you can read a bit of Michel Aflaq and Zaki Arzusi's original writings when they founded the Baathist party, you will see a world of difference between Baathist ideology and the supposedly Baathist parties in Syria and Iraq.

I was just trying to get your opinion on it, I always thought you were a b3thi for some reason but I knew you hate Saddam's approach to it.
